Reverend Cicely J. Little
Cicely was born in New Haven, CT to the proud parents of Arnold Locke and Vivian Hatley. Cicely is currently employed for Continuum of Care as a Mental Health Community Support Practitioner. Cicely completed a 900-hour internship at Paradigm Healthcare of New Haven as the Administrator in Training in July of 2015 and is currently studying for her Long-Term Care Nursing Home Administrator’s Licensing through the State of Connecticut. Cicely is the Senior Associate Pastor of Operations at First Calvary Baptist Church.
Cicely was licensed to Preach the Gospel on June 10, 2012 by Rev. Dr. C. L. Stallworth, Senior Pastor of the East End Baptist Tabernacle Church, in Bridgeport, CT. Cicely graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Health Care Administration with a concentration in Long Term Care from the University of New Haven, January 2017; from Albertus Magnus College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Cum Laude), May 2014; Gateway Community College with an Associate in Arts Degree, May 2011 and the Black Minister’s Program from Hartford Seminary in May 2011.
Cicely has taught and currently teach the children’s and teens Sunday School class, was an advisor to the Jr. Missionaries, was a member of the Geraldine Harper Training Institute and Budget Committee, Senior and Junior Usher Ministry President, United Church Ushers Association of Connecticut Young Adult President, New Haven Ushers 3rd Vice President and the Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention Assistant Correspondent. In addition, Cicely was an Administrative Assistant at Community Baptist Church in New Haven. Cicely was on the Board of Directors for the University Condominium Association, Vice President of Communications for the Society of Healthcare Association and the Executive Secretary for the Levite Association of CSMBC. Cicely is currently the Women’s Ministry Advisor of First Calvary Baptist Church, the Vendor Advisor and Young Adult Liaison of the Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Black Ministers Program Alumni, a member of the American College of Health Care Administrators and a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
Cicely and David celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary on April 18th, she shares with David two daughters: Monay and Davena, a son David Jr. and five grandchildren.
